Membership Information
Northern Exposure Toastmasters provides a fun and exciting way of learning and improving your communication and leadership skills in an atmosphere of fellowship. You will meet fellow Toastmasters and have fun learning new skills.
When & Where
Meetings are held every first, third and fifth Wednesday of each month starting at 6:45 PM for fellowship with the meeting at 7 PM at East Preston Uniting Church Hall, Highview Road Preston, opposite Sylvester Grv.
Guests
Guests are welcome at our meetings and each guest will always be made most welcome.
Our members will be happy to answer your questions and you will receive a Visitors Kit which contains information about Toastmasters, Meetings and Membership. During the meeting there is an opportunity to participate - however there is no pressure to speak. Just come along and see how much fun you can have by learning something new.
It cost nothing to visit Northern Exposure Toastmasters only it takes two hours of your time to see what it is all about. Just come and have some fun with us. If you like you may complete an Application for Membership or come again.
Membership
When you join Northern Exposure Toastmasters you will receive a lapel pin, name badge, booklet explaining meeting roles and agendas. A New Members Kit containing a variety of manuals offering proven techniques to improve your communication, listening and leadership skills. You will also receive the monthly magazine, "The Toastmasters" offering the latest news and techniques on public speaking and leadership from around the globe.
There is a once only Joining Fee of $30.00 and an Annual Membership Fee of $130.00. (These fees are reviewed regularly.)
